With Eline Hellerud Åsbakk he has formed Kollektivet, emerging from their acclaimed album …før de spredtes – a contemporary interpretation of Nordic musical heritage that blends newly written material with melodies from the 14th to 19th centuries, honouring the clarity, poetry and emotional depth of the old songs.
The cinematic ambient dimension explored on Raae’s recent releases is performed live by the duo Urban Faint, expanding this sound world into a more immersive, atmospheric experience.
